At You & I Care, our mission has always been to provide trusted, high-quality care that feels like an extension of “you and I”. Nearly a decade on, we’re proud to be a part of communities across Essex, Hertfordshire and Surrey – and now, we’re giving something back. We’re offering 10 hours of free home care each week – with no strings attached!

How to Apply or Recommed Someone!

You can nominate anyone in Essex, Hertfordshire or Surrey who might benefit from a small act of care – whether they’re isolated, recovering from illness, facing hardship, or simply deserve a bit of kindness. The recipients will then receive up to 10 hours of free, tailored home care spread across our three regions each week. That could mean companionship visits, assistance with meals, household tasks or light errands – whatever best supports their needs. There are no formal requirements. Anyone can make a nomination – for yourself, a neighbour, friend or family member. If someone comes to mind, we’d love to hear from you.

    Terms and Conditions

    The offer is for residents of mainland United Kingdom only.
    Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. By participating in this offer, you agree to the terms and conditions below.

    This offer is open to:

    • Individuals residing in communities where You & I Care operates (Essex, Surrey, and Hertfordshire).
    • Members of the public who are not current or former clients of You & I Care.

    This offer is not available to:

    • Existing clients of You & I Care.
    • Employees, contractors, or volunteers of You & I Care.
    • Business partners, affiliates, or individuals with direct working relationships with the company.
    • Up to 10 hours of free domiciliary (home) care services may be provided to a single r eligible beneficiary each week, or distributed among different beneficiaries.
    • Services may include:
      • Personal care
      • Companionship
      • Sorting medication
      • Light domestic support
      • Mobility assistance
      • Access to the community
      • Shopping
      • Meal preparation
      • Attending appointments
      • Multidisciplinary team communication etc.
    • Services are subject to scheduling availability and suitability determined by the care team.
    • All eligible individuals must complete a complimentary initial assessment carried out by a You & I Care professional.
    • Based on this assessment, You & I Care reserves the right to determine:
      • The specific number of care hours allocated (up to a maximum of 10 hours per week),
      • The type and scope of care and support to be provided,
      • The timing and structure of care sessions.
    • Decisions made following the assessment are based on individual needs, service capacity, and operational feasibility. These decisions are final and non-negotiable.
    • This offer is available immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.
    • Free care hours are provided on a weekly basis and do not roll over if unused.
    • Care services are available during standard hours:
      Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
    • This offer does not include:
      • Overnight care
      • Live-in care
      • Specialist medical or nursing care
    • All bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
    • Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled visit to retain eligibility for that week’s hours.
    • Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may affect future participation in the offer.
    • The free care hours are non-transferable and may only be used by the approved individual.
    • Care hours cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.

    You & I Care reserves the right to:

    • Modify these terms and conditions at any time.
    • Amend, suspend, or withdraw the offer without prior notice.
    • Decline or discontinue services if eligibility requirements are not met or the offer is misused.
    • Participants may be invited to provide feedback, testimonials, or case studies for use in promotional material.
    • Participation in marketing is voluntary and not required to access the offer.

    Any personal data relating to the participating individuals will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

    By applying for or accepting the free care, individuals confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
