You & I Care 8th Anniversary: Celebrating 8 Years Stronger!

At You & I Care We are delighted to celebrate our 8th anniversary on this day, 27 June 2024. Established in Brentwood, we embarked on a mission to “consistently provide safe, effective, and compassionate care, building a responsive and well-led service that prioritises the well-being of our Service Users.” Over the past eight years, we have remained committed to delivering high-quality home care and embracing a people-first approach. This dedication has been the cornerstone of our success, enabling us to create strong bonds and relationships with our Service Users, their loved ones and the wider communities where we provide home care.

A Legacy of Quality Care:

From our inception, we have remained committed to providing high-quality home care. This dedication is reflected in the consistent “Overall Good” ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). CQC has over the years inspected and rated us Overall Good for being safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led, highlighting our adherence to the highest internal and external regulatory standards in care provision. Growing Reach:

We have grown from just one location in Brentwood to four locations in Chelmsford, Surrey, and St Albans respectively. This growth underscores our ability to meet the increasing demand for high-quality home care services across different regions. With a growing network of locations, we maintain an active presence in the communities where we provide home care.

Resilience Post Covid-19 Pandemic:

The Covid-19 pandemic tested many businesses, but we stood resilient. Not only did we sustain our operations, but we also managed to keep our Service Users safe through strict adherence to established Covid-19 prevention guidelines for all our staff and Service Users. We have also managed to maintain our growth trajectory post-pandemic. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given the challenging business environment that followed the global crisis. Our ability to adapt and maintain consistent care provision during such times speaks volumes about our organisational strength and commitment to our Service Users.

A Diverse and Dedicated Team:

Central to our success is a diverse team of Carers who make a difference every day. We continue to recruit highly qualified Carers both locally and internationally, ensuring a broad range of skills and experiences. This diverse team is united by a shared commitment to our promise “To Always Care.” By bringing together Carers from different backgrounds, we enrich our service delivery, ensuring that Service Users receive compassionate, culturally sensitive, and professional care.

Community and Professional Engagement:

Maintaining an active presence in the communities where we provide care is central to what we do. By actively engaging with these communities, we contribute to building functional and resilient communities, which create a favourable environment for the people we support. This active involvement ensures that our Service Users feel supported not just by us, but also by the broader community as well.

One of the most rewarding aspects of our journey has been the positive feedback from Service Users, their loved ones, and the broader communities where we provide home care. Testimonials from Service Users often highlight the compassionate, attentive, and professional nature of our services. Furthermore, we are always shown so much love in the communities where we provide care.
